I’m thrilled to welcome you to my site and to be able to share some details from a baby shower that I hosted for my best friend, Lauren!  A true beauty on the inside and out, she has that maternal way about her and the baby hasn’t even arrived yet.  She’s a wonderful woman with a big heart and an even bigger smile.  She would give you the shirt off her back and is just so naturally nurturing.  Her selfless personality alone tells me that she will handle motherhood effortlessly!  I enjoyed being able to celebrate her and the baby in a BIG BIG way!  She was surrounded by a phenomenal group of women on this special day and we all loved being along for the ride.

We held the shower at Table & Main in Roswell, Ga.  {a restaurant favorite of mine and my husband’s for years}.  When I found out they hosted private events, I jumped at the chance to hold the shower here.  Its’ southern, sophisticated style was exactly what I was searching for!  Laura and the staff were a dream to work with and helped get every detail just right.

In lieu of a guestbook, I had this classic baby book for guests to write a message to the baby

On the front lawn, I placed this beautiful white antique bassinet.  A 75 year old family heirloom of mine that my father was in as a baby! So special to use this for such a perfect occasion.

We began our day with a lovely meal in the main dining room.  Guests chose from a delicious menu and Table & Main printed custom menu’s for us which was such a lovely touch.

After lunch, we continued out onto the patio for Lauren to open her fabulous gifts.  We all enjoyed seeing the cute baby loot she scored!  The ladies at the party went all out with some great gifts!  It’s clear the love we all have for Lauren will surely sift down to this child. Baby Martin is loved.  And will soon be spoiled rotten!

Flower crown making was next on our agenda after the gifts.  I thought it would be fun to do something a little outside the box instead of the typical baby games.  It turned out super cute and all the ladies looked adorable in their creations!

Upon leaving, guests took home favors of potted succulents and bath salts.  What an extraordinary day that we will hold dear for a long time!  Thank you to all the women who made this day go off without a hitch.  Especially, Mrs. Joanne, Lauren’s mom! Countdown is on, we are thrilled to meet Baby Martin in a few short weeks!
